I wasn't sure which topic to post this under but I settled on this one. Let me start by saying I am a 53-yr. old male and in pretty good shape for my age.
This issue I am posting about
has been happening with me for quite a while now but I don't have a specific length of time. It typically only happens when I'm laying down and / or in bed.
Every now and again I suddenly feel like I can't breathe as deeply as I would like to. I kind of feel like I want to take a deeper breath, and when unable to do so, I can get a little stressed / anxious. There have been a few times I have gotten up out of bed as a result. In some cases I need a good 'yawn' in order to be able to do what I want. It just feels restrictive. I never have any other symptoms (yes, I have read about
heart attack and stroke symptoms etc). Every night when I go to bed, my nose tends to plug up but typically only one nostril - rarely both plig up simultaneously.
This happens occasionally and it definitely has caused some anxiety at times. I read a little about
Dyspnea and not sure if that could be it.
I don't think I need to see a doctor about
this yet as I have many other issues I am dealing with at the moment.
Any suggestions as to what this could be and what I could do aside from a doctor visit?
